This set comprises of 9 tiles, 5 x 5 cms each. The tile designs that you see are the designs you will get.
We have been importing these Mexican tiles direct from Mexico since 2001. They are handmade from terracotta clay then the design is screen printed in many layers on to the base colour, the tiles can be slightly concave or convex due to their position in the kiln. Due to the handmade nature of the tiles they are not all completely square and the colours will vary from batch to batch.
Caoba tiles are suitable for bathrooms, kitchens and shower rooms ensuring they are properly installed on an appropriately prepared substrate. We recommend a high quality grout and adhesive (ardex). The hand made tiles are not suitable for flooring and not recommended for worktops.
If tiling a shower or heavy moisture area we would recommend using a tile sealant. We would NOT recommend using these tiles outdoors.
The Mexican tiles are a great design tool for all your tile projects and I'm sure you will enjoy waking up to them in your house for many years.
